This train, carrying 110 TEUs and 1,129 tons of export goods such as auto parts and mechanical equipment, will leave the country through the Erlianhot Port and arrive at its destination in about 15 days.
The launch of the new train is the result of Tianjin's improvement of the "sea, land and air" transportation capacity layout and the attraction of shipping elements. Today, Tianjin Port maintains trade relations with more than 500 ports in more than 180 countries and regions in the world. The radiation area of the six land-based external collection and distribution railways and the "five horizontal and four vertical" collection and distribution highways is nearly 5 million square kilometers; since 2023, Tianjin Port has continuously opened foreign trade routes to Europe, West South America, and the Middle East, and the number of container liner routes has increased to 147.
At the end of June this year, the "CMA CGM Missouri" ship successfully set sail from the 36th berth of the Tianjin Port Container Terminal to Brazil. This is the seventh cargo ship to be launched after the opening of Tianjin Port's first direct container route to the east coast of South America in May this year. Since May, Tianjin Port has successively opened new routes such as COSCO Shipping South America East Line, COSCO Shipping America East Line, and CMA CGM China-US Line, effectively expanding the shipping resources from Tianjin Port to the Americas.

In 2021, the world's first "smart zero-carbon" terminal-Tianjin Port Beijiang Port Section C Intelligent Container Terminal was officially put into operation. At the terminal, artificial intelligence transport robots (ART) shuttle back and forth, with positioning accuracy up to centimeters; wind turbine blades rotate against the wind, giving quay cranes, rail bridges, trucks and other former "carbon emitters" a "green heart".
With the support of intelligent and innovative technologies, Tianjin Port Group is constantly refreshing its transportation "report card". In the first half of this year, Tianjin Port Group completed a total cargo throughput of 248 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 3.1%; container throughput of 11.88 million TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 4.6%, and achieved "double half" of high-quality production.
In December 2023, PICC Property and Casualty Insurance Tianjin Branch landed the first large-scale car ro-ro ship insurance business introduced in China, exclusively underwriting the ship's ocean-going ship insurance and ocean-going P&I insurance, providing 8 billion yuan of risk protection for the ship.

In 2024, Tianjin Shipping Finance ushered in a "good start". In the first five months of this year, Tianjin completed 96 ship leasing and disposal businesses, a year-on-year increase of 35%; ship insurance premium income was 198 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9.25%; cargo insurance premium income was 235 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 73.88%.
Supported by the optimization of shipping services and shipping finance business, Tianjin's shipping element aggregation capacity will achieve a major breakthrough in 2023. Since 2023, Tianjin has added 630,000 deadweight tons of shipping capacity, driving the city's waterway transportation turnover from January to May this year to increase by 22.1% year-on-year.
