China's auto exports grow strongly in June

The data also showed that China's exports of new energy vehicles have increased significantly. In June alone, the export volume of new energy vehicles reached 80,000 units, an increase of 12.3% year-on-year. The upward trend continued in the first half of this year, with the total export volume of new energy vehicles reaching 586,000 units, an increase of 21.2% year-on-year.

The figures highlight China's growing influence in the global market for environmentally friendly vehicles. Despite the increasing protectionist measures taken by the United States and the European Union against China's electric vehicle industry, global companies are still strengthening cooperation with Chinese companies. Data released by the China Passenger Car Association on Tuesday showed that US automaker Tesla exported 71,007 Chinese-made vehicles in June.

Germany's Volkswagen Group and China's SAIC Motor will further expand their influence in the electric vehicle market. The two automakers signed a number of energy technology cooperation agreements in June. Under the agreement, the two sides will jointly develop three plug-in hybrid models and two pure electric models in China and put them on the market as early as 2026.

In view of the temporary tariffs that the European Union has begun to implement, China's Ministry of Commerce said last week that the working groups of the two sides have maintained close communication and are accelerating negotiations, and agreed to consult on the EU's anti-subsidy investigation on Chinese electric vehicles.

At the same time, the China-Europe Express plays an important role in the development of China-made automobile exports. On July 8, a China-Europe Express train with 55 containers and 175 domestic commercial vehicles departed from the Harbin International Container Center and was shipped to Europe through the Tongjiang Port.

On June 12, at the Shaliang Logistics Park in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, the first China-Europe Express commercial vehicle transport train in Hohhot, fully loaded with 29 containers and 290 domestic commercial vehicles, was finally transported to Moscow, Russia via the Alashankou Port in Xinjiang. On June 4, according to China National Radio, three to four thousand cars are shipped to the Eurasian market every month via the China-Europe Express (Chang'an).
