According to statistics from the Horgos Railway Port, in the first half of this year, 3925 China-Europe (Central Asia) trains passed through the port, an increase of 1.6% year-on-year; the cargo volume was 5.675 million tons, an increase of 8.6% year-on-year, showing a sustained and stable growth trend. At present, the number of trains passing through the port every day remains above 20.
More and more "Made in China" such as electromechanical equipment, electronic products, and agricultural and sideline products choose to go from Xinjiang Railway Port to the Central Asian and European markets. Xiao Hongwei, head of Horgos City of a Xinjiang International Freight Forwarding Company, said that with the steady improvement of the efficiency of the China-Europe train, the train routes represented by the company are also steadily increasing.
It is reported that the Horgos Railway Port continues to optimize the transportation organization process of the China-Europe (Central Asia) train, implement the "digital port" and "paperless customs clearance" systems, as well as railway express services. In addition, the port took advantage of its precise dispatching and command capabilities to ensure smooth organization of traffic flow.
