As a key node in the China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor and the China-Europe freight train, the Erenhot Railway Port actively plays its important role in international transport and cross-border transportation of goods, and continues to deepen the construction of a digital port system. "In the past, it took us at least seven or eight hours to handle various handover procedures for inbound cargo trains. After the digital port system was put into use, work efficiency has been greatly improved. Now, customs clearance can be completed within two hours at the fastest." In recent years, the types of goods carried by China-Europe trains passing through the Erenhot Railway Port have become increasingly diverse. The proportion of high value-added and high-tech commodities such as automobiles, computers, and robots has increased year by year, and now reaches more than 40%. In particular, domestically produced cars have become popular overseas. Since the beginning of this year, the total number of domestically produced cars exported has reached 60, accounting for 12% of exported goods, the best level in the same period in history.

"In recent years, more and more new energy vehicle companies have chosen China-Europe freight trains for export abroad. In the first quarter of this year, the proportion of new energy vehicles represented by our company in export goods exceeded 10% for the first time, and the company's revenue increased significantly." Since the beginning of this year, a total of 1,001 trains have passed through the Erenhot railway port in the China-Europe freight train corridor, transporting 113,000 TEUs of goods, a year-on-year increase of 7.8% and 9.2% respectively, setting a record high for the same period in history.
