As a rule, THE Alliance usually announces the New Year's route product in the fourth quarter of each year. However, in view of the fact that the current contracts of customers in the trans-Pacific market extend beyond February 2025, in order to meet the transportation needs of customers and ensure the continuity of services, ONE and Yangming have decided to announce the 2025 Trans-Pacific route network in advance.
Yangming Shipping said that in response to THE future membership changes of the alliance, the company plans to make a comprehensive adjustment to the trans-Pacific route structure from February 2025. The adjustment involves a total of 13 routes in the Southwest, Northwest and East of the United States, aiming to continue to provide customers with reliable and stable transportation services to ensure that business operations are not affected.

Jeremy Nixon, CEO of Ocean Network Shipping (ONE), said THE company will continue to work closely with Hanshin Shipping (HMM) and Yangming Shipping to maintain the alliance's long-term foundation of cooperation on trans-Pacific routes. From April 2024, ONE will add the already announced standalone WIN and AP1 services, and plans to deploy a total of 16 weekly core routes on the trans-Pacific route from February 2025. These route products have been carefully designed and optimized to provide high quality direct end-to-end service and strive to achieve superior punctuality rates to minimize THE potential impact of Hapag-Lloyd's exit from the Alliance.
Announcing the 2025 route plan decision, Jeremy Nixon explained that it was to give customers more time to prepare and to ensure that the business cooperation between the two parties can proceed smoothly. He stressed that ONE is always committed to providing excellent transport services to its customers by continuously optimizing the route network and improving the quality of service to meet the growing needs of customers.

According to ONE announcement, the 2025 trans-Pacific service announced includes 16 core weekly routes. These routes have been carefully designed and optimised to provide high quality direct end-to-end service with excellent punctuality rates. With THE redesigned product, ONE expects to minimize the impact of Hapag-Lloyd's exit from the Alliance, while ensuring continuous, reliable and efficient transportation services for customers.
