China-Europe freight trains (Xi’an) will run more than 1,000 trains in 2024

The China-Europe Railway Express (Xi'an-Duisburg) domestic and overseas full timetable trains have realized the regular operation of "two trips and one return" every week, departing from Xi'an International Port Station at 3:55 a.m. every Wednesday and Saturday Departing and running 9,908 kilometers, it takes about 12 days to reach Duisburg, Germany. The entire running time is reduced by more than 30% compared with ordinary trains, making it the full-time schedule train line with the highest operating density in the country. At the same time, China-Europe freight trains are also one of the greenest modes of transportation, with average carbon emissions being 1/15 of air transportation and 1/7 of road transportation.

According to reports, the China-Europe Railway Express (Xi'an) has opened 18 international transportation trunk lines, achieving full coverage of major cargo sources in Europe and Asia. At the same time, the concentration of inland cargo sources has been continuously strengthened, and the number of "+Western Europe" lines has been expanded to 21, making the role of the inland collection center of China-Europe trains further highlighted. In addition, the types of goods shipped by the China-Europe Railway Express (Xi'an) are also constantly expanding. From the past large-scale export of the "three old goods" such as clothing, furniture, and home appliances, to the "new three goods" of foreign trade such as new energy vehicles, lithium batteries, and photovoltaic products. “Sailing out to sea, high value-added goods continue to increase.

Since the China-Europe Railway Express (Xi'an) launched its first trip in 2013, the cumulative number of trips has exceeded 20,000, accounting for about a quarter of the total number of China-Europe freight trains in the country. Core indicators such as trip volume, freight volume, and heavy box rate rank among the top in the country. First, Xi'an International Port Station has also become the first station in the country where the number of China-Europe trains exceeds 20,000.
