Goodbye Sealand! Another Maersk brand to disappear for good!

Following Maersk's announcement on the 6th of this month that it will integrate "Sealand Europe" and "Sealand Americas" into its operations under the Maersk brand, on the 21st of this month, Maersk released an announcement on its official website stating that it will integrate "Sealand Asia" with the Maersk brand and will start offering services to its customers as Maersk in the coming months. "Sealand Asia" is integrated with Maersk brand and will start to provide services to customers as Maersk in the next few months.

So far, Sealand - Maersk (Sealand - a Maersk Company) engaged in intra-regional transportation of the troika all integrated into the Maersk brand, the world no longer Sealand.

To recap, effective October 1, 2018, Maersk's three shipping brands engaged in intra-regional transportation, including MCC Transport, Sealand and Seago Line, were unified to enter the market under the brand name "Sealand-a Maersk Company."

Sealand - a Maersk Company operates independently of Maersk.MCC Transport, Seago Line and Sealand will be referred to regionally as Sealand Asia - a Maersk Company, Sealand Europe & Mediterranean - a Maersk Company and Sealand Americas - a Maersk Company ( Sealand Asia, Sealand Europe & Med and Sealand Americas - a Maersk Company). The three companies maintain independent operations.

On January 27 this year, Maersk announced that it was moving towards a single, unified brand, which would see Hamburg Süd and SeaLand, as well as new acquisitions, gradually unified under the Maersk brand. This means that these long-established shipping brands will disappear.
